About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Content Distribution to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the identification and management of content distribution-related issues, sourcing, analyzing, and negotiating content distribution deals, and ensuring that these agreements align with the company's objectives. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams, including those in content, innovation, and legal, to execute and track content distribution throughout the organization. The VP will also be involved in the development of distribution plans, particularly for data-driven programming, and will work on content distribution strategies for the company's digital channels. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in content distribution for a major platform, sports league, or media company, and a deep understanding of the sports media landscape. The role demands a strong track record in executing content distribution strategies across various platforms and experience in market analysis and working with legal teams on distribution agreements. The ideal candidate will be innovative, analytical, and possess strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels. A BA/BS in a relevant field is required, with a business or law degree being a plus.
