Role Overview

The Assistant Community Manager oversees daily operations and financial functions under the supervision of the Community Manager. Responsibilities include managing rent collections, financial reporting, personnel, leasing, maintenance, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage payments, rent collection, and account reconciliation.
• Monitor and follow up on bad debts, prepare late notices, and handle evictions.
• Assist in meeting budgeted revenues and expenses.
• Post charges, process move-outs, and manage security deposits.
• Supervise staff, ensure effective leasing, and promote resident satisfaction.
• Maintain property appearance, oversee repairs, and ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or related experience.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Physical Requirements

• Regular standing, sitting, moving, and occasional physical activities such as climbing or lifting up to 25 lbs.
