Position Summary

Leads and develops teams by teaching, training, actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate objectives effectively.

Models exceptional customer service standards by following the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing customer service initiatives, and ensuring customer needs are addressed. Develops action plans to improve deficiencies and leads process improvements for a high-quality customer experience.

Drives financial performance by reviewing profit and loss statements, managing budgets, forecasting, controlling expenses, and ensuring effective merchandise presentation. Develops strategies to mitigate shrinkage and achieve sales and profit goals.

Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and recognizing contributions. Promotes a culture of belonging and recruits qualified staff to meet growth needs.

Coordinates activities by developing relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans to meet customer and business needs, and measuring progress. Ensures compliance with policies, supports company values, and fosters a culture of integrity and ethics.

Builds high-performing teams, embraces diversity, and creates an inclusive workplace where associates feel supported and connected. Recognizes contributions and promotes a sense of belonging.

The hourly wage range is $31.25-$38.46 plus differential, with additional bonuses and location-based pay zones. The actual wage depends on the job location and applicable legislation.

Minimum Qualifications

2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearm selling facilities, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required. For ammunition-only facilities, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required. Associates must complete all required training and assessments.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, or a Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership. Experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
