The Community Manager oversees all operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager. Responsibilities include managing personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administrative, and risk management tasks. As an on-site leader, you will supervise property and staff to ensure compliance with policies, safety, fair housing guidelines, and liability concerns.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Personnel Management: hiring, training, coaching, and developing staff; ensuring staff compliance with policies.
  2. Financial Management: achieving net operating income, developing budgets, and managing deposits and charges.
  3. Strategic Leasing Management: developing marketing plans, leasing techniques, and resident retention programs.
  4. Administrative & Maintenance Management: ensuring reporting accuracy, property inspections, and handling emergencies.
  5. Develop and monitor property resources, oversee maintenance, and ensure timely repairs.

Education/Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred, or related experience.
  • CAM or ARM certification preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Physical Requirements

  • Regular communication, standing, moving, and working in various environments, including outdoor and confined spaces.
  • Ability to lift objects up to 25 lbs and operate machinery and vehicles.

License/Equipment

  • Reliable transportation required for emergency on-call duties.

Compensation includes a salary range of $60,000 to $65,000 annually, with benefits such as health insurance, 401K, bonuses, and paid time off.
