Read on The Fun Stuff: Define interface requirements by collaborating with users and stakeholders Collect and analyze user behaviors and needs through user research Design user flows, sitemaps, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups that are intuitive and present a clear flow of information Brand and design UIs, define style guides to ensure consistency in the interface Collaborate with teammates that may include other designers, project managers, developers, engineers, and product champions The Necessities: You have a bachelors degree in information systems, human factors engineering, or a related discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Usability Engineering) and at least 10 years of experience Youve mastered Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software, to design sitemaps, user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups You have familiarity with a prototyping tool such as Axsure, Sketch, or Adobe XD Your design sensibility is refined and purposeful, and the artifacts you create are beautiful and functional Talking to users and soliciting their feedback is second nature, and you can articulate design concepts to a variety of audiences The Place to Be: Annapolis Junction, MD The Salary: Salary range provided during the selection process.
