Position Summary
Join Walmart Data Ventures as a Sr. Manager, Marketing Email and help shape and implement our B2B digital marketing strategy. Reporting directly to the Director, Marketing Operations, you'll lead the end-to-end email campaign process—building integrated campaigns across email and driving measurable growth through automation, personalization, and insightful reporting. This is a high-visibility, hands-on role where you'll collaborate with creative and product marketing teams to deliver campaigns that engage prospects and nurture clients. What you\'ll do
Develop a holistic email marketing plan to manage the right frequency, schedule, and context mix to achieve goals and increase engagement of prospects and customers.
Collaborate with company partners to support enterprise, branding, seasonal campaigns, categories, and business initiatives.
Improve email automation and CRM practices, driving cross-team collaboration to enhance content strategies and customer segmentation.
Partner with data science, RevOps, and platform teams to analyze customer behavior and identify relevant insights for email marketing.
Establish, track, and report on goals for email campaigns, sharing recommendations with partners and leadership.
Design and implement marketing experiments to test messaging, content, and segmentation, building a Best Practices Playbook.
Work with Product Marketing Management and creative teams to launch on-brand, impactful campaigns using internal and external tools.
Manage an integrated digital campaign calendar across email, web, and LinkedIn.
Ensure compliance regulations and deliverability best practices for all audiences.
Stay current on industry trends and best practices, providing strategic input on email marketing direction.
Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of email programs, incorporating feedback and supporting continuous improvement.
What you\'ll bring
Bachelor\'s degree in marketing, business, retail operations, or related field, with 4+ years of experience in email marketing, corporate communications, or public relations.
Expertise in email automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, Braze, Salesforce) and hands-on experience managing email automation workflows.
Knowledge of email compliance regulations and deliverability best practices.
Experience improving email list management and audience segmentation strategies, using advanced data analysis to ensure targeted, personalized, and high-performing email campaigns that grow engagement and conversion.
Experience conducting research, analyzing data, developing insights, and communicating applicable recommendations to measure email performance and lead decisions based on important metrics.
Customer-centric approach, always looking to understand and enhance the user experience.
Experience working in B2B startup or high-growth environments.
Campaign management skills demonstrating the ability to plan, craft, execute, and manage marketing emails end to end; includes project management skills to manage multiple campaigns and calendars simultaneously.
