The Marketing Coordinator supports a variety of marketing and communications initiatives for Witham Health Services. This position is responsible for assisting in the creation, coordination, and execution of marketing projects, ensuring brand consistency across platforms, and fostering community engagement. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams and external marketing partners to maintain and enhance the organization's digital presence, coordinate events, and support day-to-day marketing operations.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and social media platforms. Preferred:
Experience managing business social media platforms and familiarity with current trends and best practices. Confidence in using online reputation and listing management platforms. Working knowledge of website content management systems (CMS). Moderate graphic design skills with proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite. Experience in healthcare marketing. Skills & Attributes:
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and community members. Essential Functions Social Media Management: Coordinate Witham's presence on Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other platforms. Work with our marketing firm to develop and publish strategic content. Monitor engagement and respond to comments and messages using approved guidelines. Online Reputation Management: Claim and maintain online listings for providers and locations on platforms like Google and Yelp. Monitor and respond to reviews using a prepared response matrix, escalating when necessary. Website Content: Make timely updates to website content to ensure accuracy and alignment with current campaigns and services. Intranet Management: Make timely updates to Intranet content to ensure efficient communication with team members. Graphic Design & Visual Content: Support design and layout of promotional materials, brochures, signage, and digital assets using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite. Capture photos and videos for in-house use and online channels. Media Coordination: Schedule and support professional photography and video shoots. Serve as in-house photographer/videographer for candid and informal content. Event Support: Assist in the planning and coordination of employee and community events. Occasionally represent Witham Health Services at these events. Promotional Inventory: Help manage inventory of promotional items and giveaways for events and outreach. Office Hospitality: Welcome guests and accept deliveries in the marketing/foundation/risk management office as needed.
