Responsibilities
- Strategic Media Planning: Lead the development of multi-channel media strategies that align with client objectives, audience insights, and market conditions.
- Client Collaboration: Serve as a strategic partner to clients, presenting media plans, performance reports, and optimization strategies with clarity and confidence.
- Campaign Management: Oversee the execution of media campaigns from planning through launch, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
- Vendor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with media vendors and platforms to secure advantageous rates, placements, and opportunities.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze campaign performance metrics and audience data to generate actionable insights and inform future planning.
- Budget Oversight: Manage media budgets across campaigns, ensuring efficient allocation and tracking of spend to maximize ROI.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with creative, analytics, and account teams to ensure media plans are integrated and aligned with broader marketing strategies.
- Testing & Optimization: Design and implement A/B tests and other optimization strategies to improve campaign effectiveness.
- Mentorship & Leadership: Guide and mentor junior media planners, fostering professional growth and ensuring high-quality work across the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
- 5-7 years of media planning experience, preferably in an agency or multi-brand environment.
- Strong knowledge of media channels including digital (programmatic, social, search), TV, radio, print, and OOH.
- Proficiency in media planning tools (e.g., MediaOcean, Prisma, Nielsen, Comscore, Google Analytics).
