Base pay range: $63,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr. The actual pay will be based on skills and experience.

Responsibilities
- Media/Influencer Relations: build and maintain strong relationships with key media across business and tech industries; identify new media opportunities and share results with the team
- Proactive pitches: regularly generate coverage for the team
- Team development: coach junior staff to build stronger relationships
- Social media and content: creatively use social channels to engage and support PR efforts
- Measurement: track ROI of communications activities
- Influencer engagement and content campaigns: manage influencer programs and amplify media coverage
- Client service/management: manage projects from concept through execution; own client PR calls; provide counsel on media opportunities under various circumstances
- Campaign planning: develop quarterly campaigns and PR plans including trends, thought leadership topics
- Program ownership: own key elements of the PR program (analysts, speaking, content, etc.)
- Budget and staffing: develop budgets and prioritize team efforts
- Media training: participate in media training with clients and develop key messages
- Writing: generate and edit proposals, press releases, fact sheets, bios, pitches, Q&As, and related materials
- Agency operations: participate in new business, attend relevant events, and foster a collaborative environment
- Self-development: set quarterly goals, prioritize tasks by impact and timelines, and demonstrate growth
- Networking and events: attend and encourage attendance at networking opportunities
- Mentor junior staff and support team members
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of PR experience, preferably in an agency or startup environment
- Strong writing skills and ability to craft compelling campaigns
- Ability to identify influencers and media opportunities, and to pitch and secure coverage
- Experience managing client relationships and leading PR programs
- Ability to work independently, manage projects from concept to execution, and prioritize effectively
- Comfort with social media, content campaigns, and measurement of outcomes
