Overview
Senior Product Designer - Spend & Expense at BILL. You will help our corporate card customers put their finances on autopilot by applying a critical and analytical lens to understand how customers can better manage their finances with BILL. You will refine and improve our existing core product capabilities and explore opportunities to expand our core product offering. Responsibilities
Navigates design challenges and employs innovative solutions that impact product areas. Develops strategies where design aligns with and supports business metrics, taking a leadership role in design discussions with cross-functional teams and communicating design choices clearly to connect to user needs and business goals. Works with greater autonomy on projects and may provide guidance to junior designers. Models design principles and company values. Collaborates across departments as a co-lead with Product Managers and Engineering Managers. Defines design strategies aligned with the team’s objectives and contributes to the roadmap based on design insights. Builds products that engender trust between customers, vendors, and BILL; understands and solves problems at their core; leverages BILL’s capabilities in new and innovative ways for customers. Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years in product design with a proven track record leading design projects from concept to launch. FinTech or related industry experience is a plus. Skills: Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite. Business Acumen: Understands business drivers and proactively creates design solutions that meet user and business needs. Product Design Craft: Strong command of design principles, high-quality, user-centered designs, and contribution to design systems. Customer Centricity: Deep understanding of user needs and advocacy for user-centered design principles. Influence & Communication: Ability to persuade stakeholders and articulate design rationale; effective communication with cross-functional partners and leadership. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Interaction Design, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. Visa Sponsorship: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. The salary ranges vary by location and are based on experience, expertise, and geographic location.
