**Speech-Language Pathologist Role:**
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a skilled nursing facility setting.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). A Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred, but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address patient needs.
Provide therapy to improve patients' communication, cognitive, and swallowing skills.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers about strategies and exercises to enhance therapy outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and therapy sessions.
Requirements:
Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting is a plus.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
