We use Customer Generation (a marketing methodology developed by us) which focuses on SQLs and Customers instead of traditional metrics like MQLs. This role reports to the Associate Director and is a crucial part of the social media team. This role has a unique opportunity to be on the ground floor of a fast-growing specialty agency.

The Social Media Advertising Strategist (Internal Title: Account Strategist, LinkedIn Advertising) works directly with our mid-market and enterprise clients and runs point on communicating results, creating custom strategies, and executing Paid Media deliverables. In this role, you will gain experience creating high-performing LinkedIn strategies for B2B businesses.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead a collection of social media accounts
  • Serve as direct support to client contacts
  • Weekly communication with vendors or operational partners to ensure alignment on tasks, quality, and improvements
  • Build strategies for clients each quarter
  • Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns
  • Understand client positioning and unique value propositions
  • Confirm lead routing is accurate within a CRM
  • Manage personal productivity and utilization
  • Collaborate with the Associate Director to align internal and client goals
  • Understand the value of programmatic campaigns
  • Drive cross-sells, upsells and referrals via client relationships
  • Execute and optimize advertising campaigns within LinkedIn, including copywriting, TAM development, and targeting to maximize ROI

What You Offer

  • 2+ years of experience at a performance/digital marketing agency, with hands-on experience supporting B2B clients
  • Deep expertise across paid social advertising campaigns, specifically LinkedIn Ads
  • Understanding of LinkedIn ad units such as conversation ads, document ads, CTV and more
  • Proficiency with advertising platforms and tools such as LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Zoominfo, 6Sense, etc.
  • Strong understanding of paid principles, including keyword research, copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimization
  • Ability to analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, Excel, or other analytics platforms to drive decisions
  • Ability to drive results and measure via OCT
  • Experience with audience segmentation by tier, job title, etc.
  • Proven success with mid-market or enterprise accounts
  • Ability to translate strategy into data-driven storytelling
  • Problem-solver with a competitive and curious mindset
  • Comfort with staying on the cutting edge of the industry and seeking growth opportunities
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Quality-focused with passion for advertising
  • Willingness to travel to visit clients approximately once per year, as needed

  • Salary range: $70,000-$80,000 USD base, with potential for bonus eligibility. Final salary varies based on experience and company practices.

Work Environment Requirements

As a remote-first company, you’ll be able to work from anywhere in the US, with optional offices in Irvine, CA. Global opportunities may be available where we have established businesses and require work authorization. This role can operate 100% virtually from home; collaboration is via Zoom and Slack. You will need a laptop, internet access, and a professional background.
