Senior Social Media Advertising Strategist (Remote US) – Abe

Abe is a specialized consultancy focused exclusively on social media advertising, helping clients leverage LinkedIn, Meta, and more to reach, engage, and convert target audiences. This role reports to the Associate Director and is a crucial part of the social media team. This position is remote-first with optional in-person offices and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead a collection of social media accounts
  • Provide direct support to client contacts
  • Coordinate weekly with vendors or operational partners to align tasks, ensure quality, and implement improvements
  • Build client strategies each quarter
  • Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns
  • Provide fractional internal marketing support for a boutique agency within Directive
  • Understand client positioning and unique value propositions
  • Ensure lead routing accuracy within a CRM
  • Maintain personal productivity and utilization
  • Collaborate with the Associate Director to meet internal and client goals
  • Understand the value of programmatic campaigns
  • Drive cross-sells, upsells, and referrals through client relationships
  • Execute and optimize advertising campaigns within LinkedIn, including ad copywriting, TAM development, and targeting to maximize ROI

What You Offer

  • 4+ years of experience at a performance/digital marketing agency with hands-on support for B2B clients
  • Deep expertise across paid social advertising campaigns, specifically LinkedIn Ads
  • Understanding of LinkedIn Ad Units (e.g., conversation ads, document ads, CTV, etc.)
  • Proficiency with advertising platforms/tools such as LinkedIn Campaign Manager, ZoomInfo, 6sense, and more
  • Ability to delegate to junior team members for joint success
  • Strong understanding of paid principles (keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, optimization)
  • Ability to analyze campaign performance with Google Analytics/GA4, Excel, and other analytics tools to drive decisions
  • Ability to measure and drive results using OCT
  • Experience with audience segmentation by tier, job title, etc.
  • Proven success with mid-market or enterprise accounts
  • Ability to translate strategy into data-driven stories
  • Problem solver with a competitive and curious mindset
  • Always seeking industry growth opportunities and knowledge sharing
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and multi-project management
  • Quality-focused with a passion for advertising
  • Willingness to travel to visit clients approximately once per year or as needed

  • Effectively manage approximately five mid-tier and enterprise accounts
  • Meet/exceed department KPIs, including client growth and goal attainment (NSMs and Client Satisfaction scores)
  • Build client trust and renewals; cross-sell services aligned with client goals
  • Clearly communicate results with clients and executives
  • Demonstrate sound strategic decision making for accounts

Benefits

  • Base salary range: $85,000–$95,000 USD with potential for bonus eligibility; actual salary varies by experience and directives

Work Environment & Accessibility
