Social Media Advertising Strategist (Remote US)

Abe is a specialized consultancy focused exclusively on social media advertising. We are a hub for innovative strategies, helping clients leverage the full power of LinkedIn, Meta and more to reach, engage, and convert their target audiences. This role reports to the Associate Director and is a crucial part of the social media team. You will work directly with mid-market and enterprise clients and lead communications of results, create custom strategies, and execute Paid Media deliverables, with a focus on high-performing LinkedIn strategies for B2B businesses.

The company uses Customer Generation, a marketing methodology focusing on SQLs and Customers rather than traditional MQLs.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead a collection of social media accounts
  • Serve as direct support to client contacts
  • Weekly communication with vendors or operational partners to align tasks, quality, and improvements
  • Build strategies for clients each quarter
  • Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns
  • Understand client positioning and unique value propositions
  • Confirm lead routing is accurate within a CRM
  • Be accountable for personal productivity and utilization
  • Collaborate with the Associate Director to achieve internal and client goals
  • Understand the value of programmatic campaigns
  • Drive cross-sells, upsells and referrals via client relationships
  • Execute and optimize advertising campaigns within LinkedIn, including ad copywriting, TAM development, and targeting to maximize ROI

What You Offer

  • 2+ years experience at a performance/digital marketing agency, with hands-on B2B client support
  • Deep expertise across paid social advertising campaigns, specifically LinkedIn Ads
  • Understanding of LinkedIn ad units (conversation ads, document ads, CTV, and more)
  • Proficiency with advertising platforms/tools such as LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Zoominfo, 6Sense
  • Strong paid media principles (keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, campaign optimization)
  • Ability to analyze campaign performance data using Google Analytics/GA4, Excel, or other analytics platforms to drive decisions
  • Ability to drive results and measure via OCT
  • Experience with audience segmentation by tier, job title, etc.
  • Proven success with mid-market or enterprise accounts
  • Ability to translate strategy and tell stories with data
  • Competitive and curious problem solver; eager to stay on the cutting edge of the industry
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Quality-focused and maintain integrity in advertising
  • Willingness to travel to visit clients approximately once per year, as needed

What Success Looks Like

  • Demonstrate core values in every interaction
  • Effectively manage approximately five mid-tier and enterprise accounts
  • Meet and exceed department KPIs, including client growth and goal attainment (core KPIs: NSMs and Client Satisfaction scores)
  • Build client trust and renewals through strong relationships
  • Cross-sell services aligned with client goals
  • Clearly communicate results with client points of contact and executives
  • Make sound strategic decisions for accounts

  • Salary range for this position based in the United States: $70,000-$80,000 USD with potential for bonus eligibility; actual salary may vary based on compensation practices and experience

Work Environment Requirements

As a remote-first company, you can work from anywhere in the US, with optional offices in Irvine, CA. Global opportunities may be available where we have established businesses; you must have work authorization and reside in the country.

This role is 100% virtual from your home office. Collaboration is primarily via Zoom and Slack. You will use a laptop (PC or Mac), standard software, and other tools. You must be able to stay stationary for extended periods, interpret written and verbal communication, have reliable internet, and maintain a professional background.
