Senior Social Media Advertising Strategist (Remote US)

Abe is a specialized consultancy focused exclusively on social media advertising. We leverage LinkedIn, Meta and more to reach, engage, and convert target audiences. This role reports to the Associate Director and is a crucial part of the social media team. This is a ground-floor opportunity at a fast-growing specialty agency.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead a collection of social media accounts
  • Serve as direct support to client contacts
  • Weekly communication with vendors or operational partners to ensure alignment on tasks, quality, and improvements
  • Build strategies for clients each quarter
  • Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns
  • Provide fractional support for internal marketing in support of a boutique agency within Directive
  • Understand client positioning and unique value propositions
  • Confirm lead routing is accurate within a CRM
  • Maintain personal productivity and utilization
  • Collaborate with the Associate Director to meet internal and client goals
  • Understand the value of programmatic campaigns
  • Drive cross-sells, upsells and referrals via client relationships and professional network
  • Execute and optimize advertising campaigns within LinkedIn, including ad copywriting, TAM development, and targeting to maximize ROI

What You Offer

  • 4+ years of experience at a performance/digital marketing agency, with hands-on experience supporting B2B clients
  • Deep expertise in paid social advertising campaigns, specifically LinkedIn Ads
  • Understanding of LinkedIn Ad Units (e.g., conversation ads, document ads, CTV, and more)
  • Proficiency with advertising platforms and tools such as LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Zoominfo, 6Sense, and more
  • Ability to delegate to junior team members to ensure joint success
  • Strong understanding of Paid principles: keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimization
  • Ability to analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics/GA4, Excel, and other analytics platforms
  • Ability to drive results and measure via OCT
  • Experience with audience segmentation by tier, job title, etc.
  • Proven success with mid-market or enterprise accounts
  • Ability to translate and articulate strategy and tell stories with data
  • Problem solver with a curious, competitive mindset
  • Always looking for opportunities to grow and share
  • Strong organizational and multi-project management skills
  • Commitment to quality and staying true to the craft of advertising
  • Travel to visit clients approximately once per year, per client or as needed

  • Align with core values in every interaction
  • Effectively manage approximately five mid-tier and enterprise accounts
  • Meet and exceed department KPIs (client growth and goal attainment), including North Star Metrics and Client Satisfaction scores
  • Build client trust and relationships to drive renewals
  • Cross-sell services that align with client goals
  • Clearly communicate results with client points of contact and executives
  • Make strong, strategic decisions for accounts

  • Base salary range: $85,000 - $95,000 USD with potential for bonus eligibility; actual salary may vary

Work Environment Requirements

Remote-first company; ability to work from anywhere in the US. Optional offices in Irvine, CA. For global locations, you must have work authorization and reside in that country.
