Position Title: Music Production Aide WS, Student

Job Summary: Assist students in projects related to courses in the music production program.
Required Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Must maintain enrollment in at least 6 credits at LBCC, maintain satisfactory academic progress throughout each term, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better, and have financial aid in place to be eligible to work in a Work Study student employee capacity at Linn-Benton Community College.
Skills and Abilities:
- Requires basic office operations knowledge and skills.
- Must be able to use Google Sheets.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with large groups of people.
- Must be able to perform the duties of the position efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision and following well-defined policies and procedures.
- Must be able to communicate clearly with diverse populations in a courteous manner, exercising patience, either over the phone or in person.
- Must be able to work respectfully with individuals from all cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives.
Preferred Qualifications
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Work is normally performed in an office setting with little or no exposure to health and safety hazards.
- Assist students in projects related to courses in the music production program.
- Monitor computer usage and ensure that only students taking classes in the program are using the equipment.
- Assist in the check-out and check-in of equipment.
- Inform music production faculty of any issues concerning the equipment in the lab.
- Ensure the lab is clean and ready for use by the next class.
- Ensure all rules set by instructors of the group piano and music production courses are followed during lab hours. This includes rules about food and drinks on the desks.
- Assist with Event Production. This includes running lights, sound, and setting the stage for music events.
