Responsibilities

• Develop clear and concise operational instructions for process manuals, and other documents.
• Collaborate with Core team (operators/union members), safety team, engineers and product managers to understand product specifications and requirements.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear and accurate instructions.
• Conduct interviews with and observe work performed by various users (Operators/Union employees) to gather data for documentation. - Start-up / Shutdown / Changeovers / etc.
• Gather photographs and other useful media to enhance and provide visual clarification of documents

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in training or equivalent combination of education and experience for a technical writer role
• Minimum 2 years experience as a technical writer or service writer (food industry or related)
• Solid technical writing skills, including the ability to research and document functionality, protocols and processes
• Excellent writing, grammar, proofreading and editing skills along with strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Exceptional ability in creating technical documentation for non-technical persons

Compensation and Contact

Salary: $29.00 - $31.80 per hour
