This part-time position offers an opportunity to provide specialized instruction as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) to a small caseload of students within a K-12 educational setting. The role supports five students with visual impairments, delivering tailored services once per week to each individual to promote their academic success and independence.

Providing braille transcriptions and overseeing braille materials to ensure accessibility and comprehension. Collaborating with educators and support staff to integrate accommodations and instructional strategies. Assisting with the transition and implementation of Voice Output Communication Aids (VOCO) to enhance communication capabilities. Qualifications and experience: Certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) with experience working with students who are Blind or have Low Vision (BLV). Familiarity with braille transcription and assistive technology for visually impaired learners. Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary school environment. Ability to manage a small caseload and maintain organized service schedules.
