Job Type: Contract (CSY) Schedule: Part-time Key Responsibilities: Provide direct instruction and support to 5 visually impaired students, delivering services once per week for each student. Create and transcribe educational materials into Braille to facilitate access to curriculum content. Collaborate with educational teams to develop and adapt learning plans tailored to individual student needs. Assist in the implementation of the VOCO model and contribute to its ongoing development and enhancement. Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to ensure effective learning outcomes. Qualifications: Certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) is required. Experience working with Blind and Low Vision (BLV) students in a K-12 educational setting. Proficiency in Braille transcription and the use of assistive technology for visual impairments. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff. Ability to manage a caseload independently while maintaining high-quality service delivery.
