This opportunity is for a part-time Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) to support five students in a K-12 school setting. The position entails delivering specialized instructional services once per week to each student, focusing on meeting their unique learning needs.

Location: Seymour, IN Key Responsibilities: Provide direct teaching and support services to students with visual impairments. Deliver weekly instructional sessions tailored to each of the five students. Conduct Braille transcriptions for educational materials. Assist with the transition and flipping of existing VOCO assignments to better suit student needs. Collaborate with school staff and families to develop individualized education plans. Qualifications and Experience: Certification to teach students who are Blind or Visually Impaired (TVI/BLV). Experience working with K-12 students who have visual impairments. Proficiency in Braille transcription and related assistive technologies. Ability to provide services on a part-time, contractual basis. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach. Job Details: Schedule: Part-time services provided once weekly per student. Duration: Contract for the current school year (CSY).
