Texas Health Action is hiring: Short-Term Brand Photographer in Austin

Overview

Texas Health Action (THA) invites qualified vendors to submit proposals to meet Kind Clinic’s photo and video production needs for the September 2025 – September 2026. The purpose of this RFP is to solicit competitive bids to ensure all needs are executed with the best value. Kind Clinic seeks a short-term Brand Photographer to capture high-quality photo and video assets of Kind Clinic's locations in Austin (2), Dallas (1), and San Antonio (1) for the brand photography library. The Kind Clinic Creative Team will coordinate shoot dates with the photographer and staff.

Kind Clinic is part of THA, a community-informed nonprofit dedicated to providing culturally affirming, quality health services in a safe and supportive environment. THA serves LGBTQIA+ communities and people impacted by HIV, with locations in Austin, San Antonio, and Dallas, plus virtual care across Texas.

Position

Short-Term Brand Photographer

Responsibilities

• Provide 30 assets per city (90 total) of Kind Clinic buildings and staff.
• Deliver Final Photography: JPEG and PNG
• Deliver Raw Photography: RAW (.CR2/3, .NEF, .ARW, .RAF, etc.)
• Deliver Raw Video: Apple ProRes 422 HQ (or equivalent high-bitrate, edit-ready format)
• Style & Tone: Reflect Kind Clinic’s friendly, LGBTQIA+ affirming, authentic brand experience with stock photography setups that align with the unique queer aesthetic and welcoming staff.
• Locations: On-site shoots at Kind Clinic locations in Austin, Dallas, and San Antonio.
• Talent & Coordination: Kind Clinic’s Creative Team will coordinate staff and location availability.

Timeline & Turnaround

• Shoot: September – October
• First Proofs: Early November
• Final Delivery: December 1, 2025
• Revisions: 2 rounds of revisions on photography selection and color correction

Usage & Rights

Final assets will be used in organic and paid social, paid and out-of-home advertising, print, digital and more. Unlimited digital and print usage in perpetuity.

Requirements

• Provide information about experience and ability to meet the requirements
• Provide references to relevant work demonstrating style and quality
• Demonstrate ability to travel between Austin, San Antonio, and Dallas
• Provide an overall rate for the position, including any travel expenses
