Location

Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

The Department of Technical Communication and Interactive Design is committed to providing exceptional education through a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical experience. With more than 400 full-time faculty and 8,100 degree-seeking students, the Norman J. Radow College of Humanities & Social Sciences is dedicated to pioneering workforce readiness in the humanities and social sciences. The College offers more than 80 graduate and undergraduate programs of study. Job Summary

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time and limited term faculty positions in the Department of Technical Communication and Interactive Design for the academic year 2025-2026. These positions are on an as needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching undergraduate courses in Technical Communication, primarily TCOM 2010: Introduction to Technical Writing or lower-level TCID-prefixed classes.

Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Master\'s degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Technical Communication or Professional Writing or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire.

OR

  • A minimum of a Master\'s degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required at the time of hire.
