About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Marketing and Communications to serve as a senior leader with a global focus. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the vision and driving the execution of marketing and communications activities that align with the organization's strategic priorities and brand framework. This role requires a strategic thinker who can also be a hands-on operator, ensuring that the company's brand, messaging, and strategy are consistently represented across all channels, regions, and stakeholder touchpoints. The Vice President will oversee a unified global marketing and communications team, collaborate with regional offices, and work closely with development and fundraising teams to create alignment and amplify impact. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' of progressive leadership experience in marketing, communications, or media, preferably within a global, mission-driven organization. The role demands a leader with a deep knowledge of integrated marketing strategy, content development, digital ecosystems, and brand governance. A background in marketing, media, or public affairs is a strong advantage. The ideal candidate will be mission-driven, passionate about advancing global health impact, and committed to equity, inclusion, and ethical storytelling. Core competencies include being highly collaborative, adaptable, resourceful, and a proactive leader who can inspire and mobilize teams. The position also requires the ability to work across time zones and travel internationally as needed.
