Senior Mechanical HVAC Designer at Jacobs – join our Building Mechanical team to deliver innovative HVAC design solutions for heavy industrial clients. Responsibilities
Layout and design of HVAC systems. Development of conceptual and preliminary design documents, including calculations, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and general arrangements. Preparation of final construction documents for chilled water, cooling water, and related systems. Coordination with other disciplines. Qualifications
At least ten (10) years’ experience in HVAC design for industrial facilities. Proficiency in Revit. Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to HVAC design. Adaptability to work within a fast‑paced team environment with multiple deadlines. Ability to collaborate with the project team remotely. Software experience in AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700, and Trane Trace 3D (ideal). Experience in the design of plumbing/utility systems (ideal). Benefits
