In our Advanced Manufacturing Group, we deliver cost‑effective transformative projects for specialty chemical, electric vehicle, metals, pulp & paper and other markets. The Senior Mechanical HVAC Designer will work with a multi‑disciplinary team to deliver innovative HVAC design solutions for heavy‑industrial clients. Responsibilities
Layout and design of HVAC systems. Development of conceptual and preliminary design documents, including sizing calculations, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and general arrangements. Preparation of final construction documents for chilled water, cooling water, and related systems. Coordination with other disciplines, field investigations, client and vendor interface, and equipment sizing and selection. Qualifications
At least ten (10) years’ experience in the design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities. Proficiency in Revit. Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to the design of HVAC systems. Adaptability to work within a fast‑paced team environment with multiple deadlines. Ability to collaborate with the project team remotely. Preferred Skills
Experience with AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700, and Trane Trace 3D. Design experience in plumbing/utility systems. Benefits
