LaunchCode is recruiting for a Network Designer (Mid-Level or Senior) to work at one of our partner companies. This position focuses on COMSEC network design and requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance. Details Full-Time W2, Direct-Hire Immediate opening Pay for Mid-Level: $94,350 – $127,650; for Senior: $113,900 – $154,100 Minimum Experience: 5+ years Work hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM This position will be based in Berkeley, MO or Hazelwood, MO and will support the Global Services and Technology organization by collaborating with IT Business Partners and stakeholders to implement and maintain communications and network systems. Position Responsibilities
Leads and performs identification, analysis, and documentation of requirements for network LAN technologies and services (e.g., wireless, data, voice, video, cable, wire) to lead the design process Collaborates with stakeholders (Transport, MAN/WAN, Structured Cabling, Project Manager, etc.) in focused, agile-inspired sprint teams Provides oversight of work intake processes, backlog and execution of requests, coordinating with IT Business Partners and Product Owners Creates and documents designs that conform to architectural and security standards, using design templates and standard implementation packages Prepares, deploys, and coordinates installation of complex implementation packages per company standards Provides Level 3 Incident/Problem Management support to meet service restoration and network availability objectives Supports component research to inform broader evaluation Leads and performs implementation planning for tactical multi-technology insertion projects Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving Basic Qualifications (Required)
3+ years of experience with Cisco routers and switches & Cisco IOS implementations 3+ years of experience with design, implementation, and troubleshooting of LAN/WAN 3+ years of experience with TCP/IP Ability to support after-hours change windows and implementations Willing to cover on-call shifts, including weekends and after hours Company partner is a Drug Free Workplace with post-offer testing for specified substances when criteria is met Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of related work experience or equivalent Current CCNA, CCNP or other Cisco Certification Experience with COMSEC Experience with Arista networking Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Experience with Cisco ISE Experience with Zero Trust Experience with MFA Experience with Comply to Connect Experience with NTP Experience with Palo Alto next-generation firewall systems Experience with IPSEC and GRE tunnel configurations Experience with Splunk Security Clearance
