Senior Marketing Manager, Executive Experience Strategy , Global Executive Marketing Amazon Web Services (AWS) – Bellevue, WA

AWS Global Executive Marketing (GEM) is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to champion the executive audience in campaign strategy, working across AWS marketing teams to represent customer needs in AWS campaigns and Integrated Demand Plans (IDPs). The role will orchestrate the executive customer journey and determine optimal touchpoints for AWS marketing communications and programs, while influencing broader campaign strategies and account-based marketing (ABM) motions. This position works on high-visibility programs and interacts with diverse stakeholders globally. In this role, you’ll:

Influence, advise, and shape Integrated Demand Planning to include executive customer needs are represented.

Advocate for executive-centric approaches in planning and execution across AWS marketing.

Establish targeting strategies to reach the right executive audience, at the right time, through the right channel.

Collaborate closely with IDP teams to integrate executive-focused strategies into overall demand generation plans.

Design comprehensive customer journey maps for executive audiences and identify key engagement opportunities.

Identify gaps in executive content or messaging required for campaigns; work with content owners to design and deliver messaging and assets as needed.

Integrate executive perspectives into AWS’s broader marketing initiatives and Integrated Demand Plans.

Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure executive campaign alignment and effectiveness.

Define and implement go‑to‑market strategies for executive marketing campaigns.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic marketer who can:

Understand and articulate enterprise executive needs and perspectives.

Navigate complex stakeholder relationships across global marketing teams.

Drive innovation in executive campaign development and execution.

A day in the life:

Analyze executive customer journey maps and identify campaign optimization opportunities.

Lead cross‑functional meetings to align on executive campaign priorities and deliverables.

Collaborate with marketing teams to integrate executive perspectives into broader campaigns.

Review campaign performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.

Guide stakeholder discussions on executive targeting and engagement strategies.

Global Executive Marketing (GEM) creates 1:1 and 1:many engagements between AWS leaders and executive customers through content, messaging, and digital and in‑person experiences. Basic Qualifications

7+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience.

Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.

Experience building, executing, and scaling cross‑functional marketing programs.

Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of time zones and languages.

Experience engaging and influencing senior executives, demonstrating a strong familiarity with decision‑making processes in enterprise customers.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross‑functional teams and agency partners.

Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint.

Knowledge of AWS or the cloud computing industry.

Compensation for this role ranges from $106,400/year to $185,000/year depending on location, experience, and market. Additional compensation may include equity, sign‑on payments, and a full range of benefits including medical, dental, and vision.
