The Audience Insights team is part of DoorDash’s Marketing structure but partners across the organization. We use research, data, and tools to bring audience insights to the forefront and ensure the voice of our three key audiences is central to our decisions. As an Audience Insights Manager you will join our Brand Insights function during a pivotal moment for the business, supporting brand strategy and campaign execution with research that drives effective marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead research that informs brand positioning, creative effectiveness, and campaign measurement.
- Manage and evolve our creative testing program to optimize work across channels.
- Uncover drivers of brand health and identify opportunities for growth.
- Influence marketing leadership decisions and act as a thought partner across functions.
What You’ll Do
- Use creativity and technical expertise to execute qualitative and quantitative research.
- Synthesize learnings into compelling stories that influence decisions.
- Build and oversee vendor relationships, running studies entirely in‑house.
- Improve project management efficiency by setting timelines, gathering stakeholder input, and ensuring vendors meet business needs.
- Establish tools and processes that centralize information and deliver insights at the right time.
- Contribute to a culture that values data‑driven insights and action.
- Help the business stay deeply attuned to the needs of all audiences: consumers, merchants, and dashers.

Required Experience
- 5+ years in marketing research or insights.
- Experience with concept development, script testing, copy testing, ethnography, segmentation, brand health, and other qualitative/quantitative techniques.
- Comfort moderating 1‑on‑1 interviews.
- Creative and collaborative, loves solving challenging problems as part of a team.
- Proficiency with Qualtrics or extensive experience programming surveys.
- Expertise in brand tracking research, using crosstab tools, statistical testing, and indexing.
- Experience applying AI in research and knowing where it accelerates work.
- Ability to write insights proposals or learning plans, recommend methodologies, and explain them to non‑research stakeholders.

Compensation
- Base salary range: $129,200—$190,000 USD, localized by work location.
