Hourly Rate: $55.00 - $60.00

Required Minimum Education: Associate's Degree (Bachelor's Preferred)

Must Have Skills/Attributes: .Net, ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, Kendo UI, MVC, Web

Experience Desired: 8 years in KendoUI, 10 years in frontend scripting (JavaScript, jQuery)

This posting is for Wisconsin based candidates only or those willing to relocate to Wisconsin within 30 days of the start date. Candidates not located in Wisconsin or not willing to relocate will not be considered. All work must be done in Wisconsin. Candidates must be a WI resident or willing to relocate to WI prior to starting the role at their own expense. The position is 90-100% remote but may require onsite staff with sufficient notice.

Required Education: Bachelor's or Associate's degree in area of specialty or 8+ years of experience in the field or related area.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the team to develop the frontend and server-side of web applications.

Conduct requirements analysis and participate in interactive code reviews.

Develop front-end and back-end features, write unit tests, and perform production support.

Document technical specifications and maintain clear documentation.

Contribute to modernizing government applications with multitenant, secure, and accessible design.

Design, implement, and manage fine‑grained authorization policies at the data, feature, and functionality level.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders and work independently when needed.

Qualifications

10+ years experience with C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, VB.NET, and .NET Framework.

10+ years experience with JavaScript, jQuery, and frontend frameworks.

8+ years experience with Kendo UI and best practices.

10+ years experience with SQL Server, DB2, and Oracle; ability to write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.

8+ years experience implementing security standards, data access, and authorization mechanisms.

Proficient in building and consuming web services; knowledge of OAuth/Okta.

Experience with ORM tools (Entity Framework, Dapper, ADO.NET) and raw data access strategies.

Solid understanding of responsive design, HTML5, CSS3, and browser compatibility.

Strong unit testing skills for front‑end and back‑end code.

Experience documenting technical solutions and participating in requirement analysis.

Familiarity with the full SDLC, project management principles, version control (Git), and issue tracking (Jira).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and adapt to team collaboration.
