Overview

Multimedia Content & Design Coordinator - Hybrid Option. The position is headquartered in Sacramento. The incumbent independently leads and manages the planning, development, and execution of high-quality visual and written content to support CDA’s public education efforts, stakeholder engagement, and cross-department initiatives. Ensures content reflects brand and messaging strategy, aligns with accessibility standards, and resonates with diverse audiences. The role supports routine and high-profile projects and contributes to the department’s creative identity.

Responsibilities

• Lead and independently manage the planning, development, and execution of high-quality visual and written content to support CDA’s public education efforts, stakeholder engagement, and cross-departmental initiatives.
• Ensure content aligns with brand and messaging strategy and accessibility standards; tailor content to diverse audiences.
• Collaborate with the Creative Services Manager and other teams to produce multimedia content.
• Support both routine and high-profile projects and contribute to the department’s professional creative identity.
• Position is eligible for hybrid telework; starting July 1, 2025 alignment with Governor’s Executive Order.

Qualifications

• Experience leading content development for public education or government communications preferred.
• Ability to translate branding and messaging into multimedia content.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
• Strong written and visual communication skills.
• Must be willing to consider hiring at Staff Services Analyst level.
• Education verification: provide transcripts or degree as needed.
