Overview Multimedia Content & Design Coordinator - Hybrid Option. The position is headquartered in Sacramento. The incumbent independently leads and manages the planning, development, and execution of high-quality visual and written content to support CDA’s public education efforts, stakeholder engagement, and cross-department initiatives. Ensures content reflects brand and messaging strategy, aligns with accessibility standards, and resonates with diverse audiences. The role supports routine and high-profile projects and contributes to the department’s creative identity.
Responsibilities Lead and independently manage the planning, development, and execution of high-quality visual and written content to support CDA’s public education efforts, stakeholder engagement, and cross-departmental initiatives.
Ensure content aligns with brand and messaging strategy and accessibility standards; tailor content to diverse audiences.
Collaborate with the Creative Services Manager and other teams to produce multimedia content.
Support both routine and high-profile projects and contribute to the department’s professional creative identity.
Position is eligible for hybrid telework; starting July 1, 2025 alignment with Governor’s Executive Order.
Qualifications Experience leading content development for public education or government communications preferred.
Ability to translate branding and messaging into multimedia content.
Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
Strong written and visual communication skills.
Must be willing to consider hiring at Staff Services Analyst level.
Education verification: provide transcripts or degree as needed.
