Hamilton Relay is seeking an entry level Bilingual Communications Assistant - Relay Operator. Our Relay Operators enable individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, deaf-blind, or have difficulty speaking to communicate over the telephone. This is a remote, work-from-home opportunity open to Baton Rouge, LA area residents only. We are looking for individuals who are eager to help others, have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and great attention to detail.

Qualified applicants must be
- 18 years of age or older
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Be bilingual Spanish/English (verbal and written)
- Have a typing speed of 55 - 60 wpm with a high accuracy rate
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- Able to maintain strict consumer confidentiality
- Available for 2 weeks of training held 8:00am - 4:30pm CT
Workspace requirements
- High speed home internet connection (Satellite and wireless internet are not acceptable)
- Must be able to hard wire your work computer directly to your home modem via Ethernet
- Must have a quiet, private, distraction-free workspace
