Role Associate Photographers are the talented and versatile team responsible for media collection for Homes.com and Apartments.com. Equipped with a Pro 3 Matterport camera, digital camera equipment, and an iPad, each photographer creates virtual tours, floorplans, and photography for residential homes. They work within a core territory, handle scheduled appointments, and collaborate closely with clients, sales associates, logistics, and management. Photographers are managed remotely by a Photography Manager based in local markets. Responsibilities Support marketing efforts on Homes.com and Apartments.com by capturing 3‑D virtual tours and footprints. Create a portfolio of photographs that best feature homes and apartments using professional photography techniques. Work with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demands. Communicate professionally with clients, sales, research partners, and management to evaluate priorities and tasks. When not on a residential assignment, navigate one‑mile square grids to ensure complete commercial real‑estate data coverage, identifying new inventory and missing properties. Adhere to CoStar safety standards to protect company vehicle and equipment and represent CoStar professionally at all times. Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed. Physical Requirements The role requires repetitive sitting in a car, standing and walking for up to 8 hours per day, lifting equipment up to 5 pounds, and occasional bending, stooping, squatting, and twisting. Candidates must be able to work and drive in all seasons and on a rotating weekend schedule. Qualifications At least 2 years of professional real‑estate photography experience. Proficiency with professional photography gear and recent photography degree preferred. FAA Part 107 drone certification obtained within 30 days of offer. Strong time‑management skills and detail orientation. Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills. Proficiency with Windows, Apple OS, Microsoft Office, and internet applications. Independent work ability in a fast‑paced environment. Field experience preferred. Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record. Compensation Hourly pay with bonus eligibility. Base salary is $50,000 annually, with monthly bonuses based on performance metrics.
