Location: The position is a remote, work‑from‑home role. Some travel may be required for client and internal meetings or conferences. Role: As the partner marketing landscape continues to evolve, various channels and tactics are coming together in exciting ways, and Acceleration Partners is leading the charge. We are seeking an experienced senior‑level digital marketing professional with leadership experience to autonomously manage cross‑regional teams for our influencer marketing practice. The successful candidate will have strong experience developing and managing KPI‑driven influencer marketing campaigns for consumer products and/or services companies, and a working knowledge of the overall partner marketing landscape, including affiliate. They will both direct comprehensive strategy and lead, manage, and hold teams accountable. Top 5 Job Responsibilities Portfolio Growth (Strategy, Execution, Performance and Expansion) – Provide high‑level strategic guidance and partnership to teams to ensure program goals are met and risk areas are mitigated proactively. Enable scope expansion opportunities, develop proposals, and pitch to client stakeholders with a strong focus on YoY growth KPIs. Lead, Manage and Hold Your Team Accountable – Oversee account teams, hiring, coaching and performance management. Demonstrate a track record of building high‑performing teams, motivating A‑players, and addressing retention and regional nuance issues. Superior Client Service (Communication, Satisfaction, and Retention) – Build strong relationships with client contacts at all levels, manage client escalations, and deliver outputs and communication that reflect the AP way, aiming for an NPS of 8+. Resource Allocation and Profitability – Manage monthly utilization rates, staffing plans and resources for the sales pipeline. Ensure accounts are profitable and identify new revenue opportunities to increase portfolio revenue and retain clients. Internal Responsibilities – Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Operations to address customer needs, scale the business, share information efficiently, lead process improvements, and mitigate risks. What Success Looks Like By 6 Months: The Associate Account Director/Account Director is overseeing day‑to‑day operations of multiple influencer programs across regions and account teams with little guidance, has strong client relationships, demonstrates growth and meets performance goals, coaches the team, and handles client situations with minimal escalation. By 1 Year: The Associate Account Director/Account Director autonomously manages all program performance and success, consistently meets or exceeds client expectations, maximizes team and account efficiency, secures expansion opportunities, maintains profitability, delivers A‑caliber deliverables, and preserves NPS scores of 8+. Qualities of the Ideal Candidate Strong internal motivation to get the job done and done well Provides superior results and unsurpassed customer service Engages clients and keeps them engaged Possesses mature judgment and solves problems independently Has incredible attention to detail and manages multiple projects simultaneously Possesses superior written and verbal communication skills Displays accountability, meets deadlines, and keeps commitments Leads by example and collaborates in a remote environment Shows confidence and eloquence in client meetings and difficult situations Thrives in a fast‑paced environment and sets the tone for the team Prioritizes objectives and coaches the team to do the same Works independently with minimal supervision Minimum Qualifications & Skills 6+ years of digital marketing and agency experience Bachelor’s degree required Proven leadership track record: interviewing, hiring, coaching, performance management of direct reports Solid understanding of omni‑channel and digital marketing; successful influencer campaigns experience for consumer or services companies Working knowledge of attribution in digital marketing Understanding of how influencer and affiliate marketing work together Experience with influencer tools (CreatorIQ, GRIN, etc.) preferred, not required Knowledge of affiliate networks or SaaS platforms (Impact, ShareASale, Commission Junction, etc.) preferred, not required Ability to travel up to 25%, including internationally Analytical mindset, comfortable with data analysis and reporting Advanced Excel capabilities and comfortable with formatting, formulas, customizing reports Outstanding customer service skills Strong independent decision‑making, organizational planning, and problem‑solving skills Strategic thinker capable of developing and leading comprehensive influencer marketing strategies Why Acceleration Partners?
