The Strategic Account Manager (AM) is responsible for nurturing and expanding TechArk’s most valuable digital marketing client relationships through exceptional customer service and strategic guidance. This role focuses on ensuring client satisfaction and driving revenue growth through proactive account management, and driving proactive campaigns and tactical changes that enhance performance and ROI.
By fostering long‑term partnerships and aligning marketing strategies with key clients’ business goals, the AM plays a crucial role in client retention and account growth. This position requires thorough understanding of digital marketing tactics, strategies, best practices, and trends, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams to provide a seamless client experience.
Primary Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Manage and grow key client relationships , ensuring retention and client satisfaction by providing strategic recommendations, and internally driving performance and results.
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts,
fostering trust and acting as a strategic advisor
to clients; success is measured by revenue and account growth but judged by the client’s trust and strength of your relationship.
Develop
deep knowledge of each key client’s industry and business objectives , aligning TechArk’s marketing solutions to meet their goals, while identifying opportunities for upsells.
Work closely with the Account Strategist to develop and implement quarterly strategies. Communicate with internal teams to execute high‑quality campaigns and tactics, keeping the Lead Account Manager informed on client needs.
Document all communication with clients in our project management tool to ensure full transparency and keep all department personnel informed of the latest developments.
Ensure
smooth onboarding and transition of new key accounts , aligning expectations, deliverables, and performance metrics. Proactively address challenges and work with appropriate team members to resolve them timely.
Lead strategic business reviews and performance reporting for accounts, demonstrating campaign effectiveness and ROI, or challenges to address. Review monthly reports and present data in a meaningful manner.
Understand TechArk’s service offerings and capabilities, to act within scope of services but also be able to pivot quickly when improvements are needed to better address the client's needs.
Present innovative solutions and campaign optimization, both internally and to clients, and involve appropriate team members as needed.
Work closely with the Lead Account Manager to improve internal department processes and client offerings. Embrace AI tools and show proactiveness in exploring and suggesting AI‑driven enhancements and solutions.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of account management or equivalent in digital marketing.
Experience in key account management or strategic account management in an agency setting is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to
drive revenue growth
through upselling and cross‑selling.
Strong knowledge of
digital marketing channels
including SEO, SEM, Social Media, Display, Programmatic, and Email Marketing, and associated metrics to measure performance. Proficiency in AI tools is a plus.
Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills.
US‑based candidates only (Local Preferred).
Work schedule aligned with the East Coast time zone.
