ROLE OVERVIEW
The
Senior Designer, Social
is the creative systems lead within Hello There Collective’s social team — responsible for building the design frameworks, templates, and visual standards that guide content execution across brands.
They ensure that all creative produced by the social department — whether through overseas designers, CGI artists, or freelancers — meets Hello There’s high aesthetic standard and aligns with each brand’s visual identity.
This role is
less about hands‑on design
and more about
direction, oversight, and consistency
— creating scalable systems, managing external design resources, and reviewing outputs for quality and brand accuracy.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Creative Systems & Template Development
Develop and maintain
social design systems and templates
across clients — including carousels, story frames, graphic overlays, and video layouts.
Translate brand guidelines and social strategy (from the Social Director) into repeatable, flexible templates.
Ensure templates support a mix of static, motion, and video use cases.
Build scalable frameworks that allow multiple designers to produce cohesive content efficiently.
Refresh and refine visual systems seasonally or per campaign to maintain a modern, elevated aesthetic.
Document usage and structure clear guidance for external designers to ensure brand consistency.
Design Oversight & Quality Control
Oversee all creative output from
CGI and overseas designers , ensuring consistency, tone, and storytelling quality.
Review daily and weekly design submissions for quality, accuracy, and brand alignment.
Provide actionable, constructive feedback and creative direction to remote teams.
Ensure deliverables follow Hello There’s design standards, typography systems, and social‑first best practices.
Partner with the Social Director to define aesthetic direction for new clients or campaigns.
Troubleshoot visual inconsistencies and provide clear direction for refinement.
Creative Direction & Collaboration
Collaborate closely with the
Social Director
to interpret strategy into visual concepts and design systems.
Partner with the
Creative Director
to ensure broader campaign creative aligns with social execution.
Work with
Social Media Managers
to understand content needs and identify design opportunities to improve engagement or clarity.
Collaborate with the
Producer
to ensure timely delivery, correct file formatting, and consistent workflow across time zones.
Participate in internal reviews, providing creative insights and feedback.
⚙️ Team & Workflow Management
Manage communication, priorities, and feedback cycles with overseas and CGI design teams.
Establish and maintain efficient processes for design intake, delivery, and revisions.
Create task briefs, visual references, and annotated feedback to support remote execution.
Partner with the Producer or Social Director to align on resource allocation and timelines.
Maintain strong communication flow between internal and external creative contributors.
File & System Management
Maintain organized, accessible design libraries (Figma, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.).
Ensure file naming, asset formatting, and delivery standards are consistent across brands.
Update shared templates and documentation regularly.
Archive and version‑control creative systems for future use and easy onboarding of new designers.
