Architect the core motivation engine that will transform users into a deeply engaged, self-sustaining community of co-owners. Own the mission of transforming our product from a simple utility into a compelling, game-like experience where contributing is as natural and rewarding as saving. Design the core game loop and systems that drive high-quality community participation, including metrics like accuracy score, contribution streaks, achievement badges, and leaderboards. Engineer for intrinsic motivation by moving beyond points and rewards to foster autonomy, mastery, and purpose. Codify first-principles engagement architecture into master blueprints and leverage AI tools to analyze engagement data and identify behavioral patterns of valuable community members. What we're looking for
A designer who thinks like a systems architect and a behavioral psychologist. A portfolio of shipped, high-impact work demonstrating deep understanding of long-term engagement and retention loops. A first-principles thinker who can architect novel motivation systems from the ground up. World-class expertise in game design, motivation theory, or behavioral economics. Comfort operating in a radically autonomous environment with minimal layers and no approval chains. Passion for AI, commerce, and building thriving online communities. Bonus if you have experience
Designing for successful B2C products in gaming, social media, or ed-tech. A formal background in psychology, economics, or a related field. Who thrives here

First Year Cash Comp: $180,000 - $230,000 Profit-Sharing Bonus (PSB) : Eligible Partners receive a monthly cash-based bonus tied to company revenue growth; PSB has added 30-100%+ to annual cash compensation for high-performing Partners. Equity : Meaningful equity grant vesting over 4 years. Note: We reward outcomes, not optics. Partners share directly in the success of Demand.io. Our Operating System
