Position Summary The
Marketing Administrative Assistant
will assist the VP of Marketing and Communications, the marketing department and executive staff with project management, marketing projects, branding, multimedia design and administrative support. This will include providing support for asset development, coordinating project activities, and participating in various marketing campaigns. The Marketing Assistant is responsible for helping to complete tasks such as managing the intake process on new projects; managing an ongoing list of current and upcoming departmental projects and their statuses; collecting data from marketing campaigns; supporting the team in daily administrative tasks; and assisting with ongoing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Project support for marketing campaigns, projects, and initiatives
Assisting in the development of collateral and other marketing materials
Providing administrative services to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities including booking travel, calendar management and preparing presentations
Preparing, formatting, and editing a range of documents
Maintaining a database of the most up-to-date art files
Assisting in the administration of an asset and collateral materials library
Coordinating with print vendors to create a virtual storefront for collateral materials
Researching as necessary to provide support, including market research, product research, competitive research, and company research
Creating graphic representations of data and translating complex research into easily readable content for stakeholders and other departments
Responding to marketing requests and collecting the necessary information for project initiation
Preparing marketing proposals and presentations based on company needs
Ensuring that all materials are branded appropriately per Marsden’s operating company structure
Employing marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)
Attending meetings and coordinating with Marsden team members as requested by the VP of Marketing & Communications
Education and Experience
Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
Solid understanding of different marketing techniques
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional knowledge of MS Office
Proficient in Adobe Suite
Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices
Current enrollment in a related BS or Master’s degree
Business Conduct
