About the Role We're looking for a Performance Creative Strategist who lives and breathes Facebook ads. You'll be obsessed with finding the hooks, angles, and messaging that make B2C consumers stop scrolling and convert.

You'll lead creative strategy for our paid social campaigns by analyzing competitor ads, developing test hypotheses, and writing scroll-stopping copy. You'll work with our in-house teams (static designers, UGC marketing managers, and media buyer) to rapidly produce and iterate on ad creative.

Key Responsibilities

Competitive intelligence: Monitor ads from top B2C apps (especially edtech, productivity, and subscription apps) using tools like Meta Ad Library to identify winning angles

Develop test hypotheses: Build frameworks for creative testing (new hooks, pain points, social proof angles, messaging variations) based on performance data and organic learnings

Write high-converting ad copy: Craft headlines, hooks, and CTAs for static ads, video overlays, and UGC content that drive app installs and subscriptions

Brief and coordinate production: Direct our static designer on which angles to execute, providing clear creative direction and copy

Light video editing: Use CapCut (or similar video editing tools) to add copy overlays to videos and splice in product footage to create multiple test variations quickly

Analyze and iterate: Review performance data with media buyer to identify why creatives win or lose, and apply learnings to the next test cycle

Lead creative standups: Run standups to review performance metrics, surface insights, and prioritize the next batch of creative tests.

What We're Looking For

3-5 years in performance marketing creative, growth team, or mobile app company

Deep understanding of B2C app marketing and what drives installs/subscriptions on paid acquisition

Strong copywriting skills for direct response advertising focused on driving immediate action

Experience with creative testing frameworks and hypothesis-driven experimentation

Familiarity with ad performance metrics (CTR, CPA, CVR, CAC) and how creative impacts them

Comfortable using Meta Ad Library to research competitor creative

Basic video editing skills (CapCut or similar) to quickly mock up concepts

Bonus

Experience working closely with media buyers or as a media buyer yourself

Background in mobile app growth, edtech, or subscription products

Familiarity with UGC creator programs and performance influencer marketing

Experience with Figma, Canva, or design tools to provide feedback to designers
