Job Details
As Assistant Local Manager, you will work alongside our Local Manager to lead, develop, and motivate the local team to achieve personal, professional, and company goals.
Responsibilities
- Promote a positive, collaborative environment and maintain our core values and policies.
- Assist Local Manager with preparations for opening day, including hiring completion, inventories, equipment set‑up/testing, staff scheduling, training, and learning proper opening/closing procedures.
- Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs to take home (photography experience not required).
- Address and resolve customer concerns or service failures appropriately to ensure optimal guest experiences and recovery.
- Lead by example and reinforce policies and procedures established by senior management.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and elevate to IT or Local Management when needed.
- Assist Local Manager with administrative tasks such as inventory, scheduling, training, and/or recruiting.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Team player, able to work independently and understand the importance of leadership.
- Excellent time management, problem‑solving skills, and ability to use good judgment to make strong, independent decisions.
- Ability to process sales transactions and comfortable with cash handling.
- Professional attire and good hygiene required.
- Available to attend mandatory pre‑season training.
- Flexibility and willingness to work during peak retail hours, such as evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Available to work a minimum of 20 hours a week or as needed.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Previous retail/assistant manager and photography experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 10‑25 pounds and stand for prolonged periods of time.
