In the area of Marketing Operations (Products/Services), the position leads a focused global function or a regional business function through balancing strategic and tactical considerations. Functional or business tactics need to be defined, while considering and anticipating the underlying strategic requirements, but also its limitations. Positions at this level define function- or business-specific strategies, policies and guidelines, globally or regionally valid for the assigned area.
Position Overview
The
Global Head of Sales and Marketing
for the Molecular Imaging business line will lead the global commercial strategy to drive market growth and competitive differentiation. As a key member of the Molecular Imaging Executive Leadership Team, this role will oversee integrated marketing, customer engagement, and sales enablement, with communications supported through a dotted‑line relationship. The leader will define the global brand, optimize market impact, and align commercial initiatives with innovation, portfolio, and revenue goals to accelerate business performance worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Define and execute the global marketing, CRM/sales, and communications strategy to position the Molecular Imaging business as a leader in MedTech innovation.
Partner with R&D, Product Management, and Regional Business Leaders to shape portfolio strategy, go‑to‑market models, and long‑term growth.
Drive customer‑centric strategies leveraging CRM and digital tools to maximize engagement, retention, and market expansion.
Serve as a key advisor to the business leadership team on market trends, competitive positioning, and growth opportunities.
Marketing & Commercial Excellence
Oversee product marketing, pricing, and competitive intelligence.
Maintain a network of relationships with key customers and opinion leaders in Nuclear Medicine, including members and leadership of medical groups like SNNMI, EANM, & CSNM.
Lead development of value propositions, clinical/health economics evidence, and commercialization strategies.
Strengthen market intelligence capabilities, including competitive analysis, customer segmentation, and predictive analytics to enhance commercial execution.
Implement CRM‑driven insights to enable global sales excellence and ensure alignment with regional commercial teams.
Develop segmentation, targeting, and customer engagement strategies for clinicians, health systems, and partners.
Manage the organization and representation of the brand at trade shows, congresses, and industry conferences.
Communications & Brand
Lead global external and internal communications for the Molecular Imaging business line, ensuring alignment with enterprise branding and corporate messaging.
Engage with public and private stakeholders (including C‑Level executives, government agencies, and healthcare institutions) to reinforce Siemens Healthineers’ leadership in the industry.
Strengthen brand equity through thought leadership, scientific communications, and industry presence.
Oversee executive communications and stakeholder engagement to enhance the visibility of the business line with customers, regulators, and global partners.
Team Leadership & Transformation
Lead and inspire a global team across marketing, CRM/sales excellence, and communications.
Drive organizational transformation to enhance digital marketing, data‑driven CRM, and omnichannel engagement.
Develop talent, succession planning, and a high‑performance culture in alignment with company values.
Qualifications & Experience
15+ years of progressive leadership in marketing, sales excellence, and communications within MedTech, Healthcare, or Life Sciences.
Deep knowledge of Imaging (preferably Molecular Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, or related technologies) and market dynamics.
Proven track record in leading global marketing strategies, CRM deployment, and sales enablement at scale.
Strong experience in portfolio lifecycle management, commercialization, and customer engagement strategies.
Demonstrated expertise in external and internal communications, branding, and executive stakeholder management.
Success in managing global teams and driving cultural and digital transformation.
Advanced degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA or equivalent strongly preferred.

Base Pay Range For This Position
Min $280,000 – Max $420,000
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
