GPD is currently seeking an Architectural Designer for our Columbus, OH office location.
Ideal Candidate
Architectural Designer with 4+ years’ experience in commercial architecture, focusing on multi‑site, retail or restaurant projects.
Experienced in developing construction documents and specifications in a fast‑paced multi‑site industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required.
Revit/BIM experience preferred.
Demonstrates a customer‑service focus.
Ability to work within a team environment with individuals from various offices and disciplines.
Excellent communication skills and ability to multi‑task between projects and priorities at one time.
Responsibilities
Architectural design and documentation of retail, restaurant, and commercial building projects, including ground‑up, tenant fit‑out, and remodel types.
Daily/weekly meetings and communication with project managers.
Due diligence, permitting research, submittals, and follow‑up.
Coordination with internal team of architects, mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil engineers.
Project administration.
