Job Overview
The Colorado Department of Corrections Correctional Industries is seeking a Multi Media Specialist to develop and maintain marketing materials, websites, social media presence, and training resources for our diverse prison manufacturing businesses. Responsibilities
Design, update, and maintain websites, social media channels, and printed materials for 18+ businesses within the state prison system. Manage ERP software related to manufacturing operations, including inventory setup, product development, and periodic price validation. Redesign and maintain the CCI online store using the Shopify platform. Create and edit video content, product listings, and marketing collateral using Adobe Creative Cloud. Support cross‑functional teams to develop and deliver web‑based training and instructional materials. Participate in community events, festivals, and trade shows to promote products and generate sales opportunities. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Minimum Qualifications
Five (5) years of professional experience developing, designing, and maintaining marketing materials, websites, social media, video, and printed materials. Bachelor’s degree in mass communication, marketing, education media, mass media production, graphic design, or a closely related field. One (1) year of professional experience in the same areas, or substitution of a bachelor’s degree with equivalent professional experience. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, HTML coding, and basic Shopify store management. Excellent written, oral, and visual communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight production deadlines. Strong customer service orientation and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and basic HTML coding for web design. Knowledge of correctional operations and application of accessibility best practices (ADA, Section 508, WCAG). Previous state service working with multimedia platforms is a plus. Location and Travel
Position is located in Colorado Springs, Canon City, or Denver with frequent travel between locations. Remote work is not available. Benefits
