Job Title CDOC- Media Specialist IV

Overview We are looking for an innovative individual to join our Multi-Media team to develop marketing materials, training presentations, and web-based training for Colorado Department of Corrections Correctional Industries.

Location Colorado Springs, Canon City or Denver. Frequent travel between all locations is required.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain websites, social media, and printed materials for our businesses within Colorado State Prisons.

Maintain ERP software, set up inventory, perform price validation, develop new products, bring them to market, and present/sell at community events, festivals, and trade shows.

Redesign and maintain the CCI online store on the Shopify platform.

Create and edit video and other multimedia content.

Create product listings including photographs and descriptions.

Produce marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, reports, and videos using Adobe Creative Cloud.

Assume other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Five (5) years of professional experience developing, designing, and maintaining marketing material, websites, social media, video, and printed materials.

Bachelor’s degree in mass communication, marketing, media production, graphic design, or a closely related field.

One (1) year of professional experience in marketing/media positions in addition to the degree.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong customer‑service skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Excellent written and oral communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

State service experience with multimedia platforms.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, Google Workspace, and basic HTML coding.

Experience with correctional operations.

Demonstrated ability to apply accessibility standards (ADA, Section 508, WCAG).
