Your mission
As a Visual Merchandiser, you will be an essential part of the Trade Marketing Team at Dorel Juvenile Europe (DJE). In this role, everything revolves around the shopper and the shop floor, creating inspiring and effective in-store environments that showcase our brands at their best at our retail partners. You will translate brand strategies into compelling visual concepts that attract attention, guide customer behavior, and ultimately convert shoppers into buyers.
Key responsibilities
Execute a flawless product presentation in Shop-in-Shop/Retail for DJE.
Implement the global VM strategy & POS guidelines, processes for in-store communication, product merchandising, POS material etc.
Collaborate with the sales/ trade team to deliver available space and define the portfolio of products that must be on display for each store.
Act as a project coordinator and as an interface between the corporate architecture team, the external suppliers, the retailers & the sales/ trade team.
Lead VM implementations across multiple monobrand and key multibrand spaces in the assigned area/region in order to ensure a high level of consistency across touchpoints.
Maintain the performance of each store by visiting our retailers and work on continuous improvement.
Create extensive and meaningful implementation reports as well as benchmark analyses to guarantee maximum local transparency at global level.
Lead the In-Store marketing campaigns' execution as well as contribute to an optimized consumer journey
Be the eyes & ears of DJE at retail and execute innovative plans for new store openings-events.
Help driving retail KPIs via visual excellence.
Your profile
Ideally completed a degree in interior design, visual merchandising or similar education.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience ideally within B2B fairs, furniture, retail, carpentry, agencies or other related fields.
Passionate about all aspects of retail including consumer experience, products and store design, combined with executional excellence and a strong understanding of retail KPIs.
Ambitious and flexible with a hands-on, start-up mentality and a team player attitude.
Fluent German speaker with good English communication skills.
Experience as a project manager leading in-house teams or freelancers and coordinating external agencies to work together effectively.
Excellent networker with strong connections to local culture, events and trends.
Willingness to travel between multiple retail locations across designated regions.
Previous experience working in consumer fairs including project planning and construction coordination.
Possession of a 7.5t truck driving license is an advantage.

A gross yearly salary up to €45,000.
You are eligible for a 13th-month salary and a holiday allowance every year.
The option to work hybrid up to 3 days, with 2 joint office days.
The annual leave entitlements consist of 27 vacation days.
