Position Summary:
Promotion Coordinator works directly with the Marketing Manager to develop and implement all promotions and events. Collaborates directly with internal departments, as well as external vendors and agencies to ensure all events are successfully executed.
Essential Functions: 1. Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values. 2. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. 3. Ensures all promotions and events are communicated property wide. 4. Maintains and builds relationships with internal and external departments/agencies/vendors. 5. Conceptualizes theme development for events and promotions. 6. Ensures all promotional rules are written and properly submitted. 7. Assists with gift sourcing and purchasing. 8. Manages marketing inventory. 9. Monitors and submits check requests, payments to vendors and accounts payable paperwork. 10. Required Qualifications: 1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form. 2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 3. Detail oriented and perform well in a fast-paced environment. 4. Excellent problem-solving skills. 5. Proficient in various computer programs, including but not limited to, Word, Excel, Publisher, ticketless drawing and customer management systems. 6. Flexible schedule -- must work all events and promotions. 7. Ability to multi-task and meet hard deadlines. 8. Works well independently, as well as with a team. 9. Microphone, Public Speaking and/or stage presence preferred. 10. Must be at least 21 years of age.
Physical Requirements: 1. Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols. 2. Ability to stand, sit and walk for duration of shift. 3. Manual dexterity to use job related equipment. 4. May require lifting, transporting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering large loads weighing up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
