The Role We are seeking an articulate, professional, and high-energy Marketing & Business Development Coordinator to bridge the gap between our marketing efforts and sales results.
This is a junior-to-mid-level position ideal for a versatile professional who wants to learn the ropes of B2B growth. You will work closely with our Marketing team to assist with content and research, while also serving as a frontline representative for our Sales Director to drive business opportunities.
What You’ll Do 1. Marketing Support
Research & Analysis:
Conduct market research to support the development of data-driven strategies. Research industry trends, competitor activities, and potential event opportunities.
Content Production:
Assist in creating and curating engaging content for social media and the web, including drafting posts, sourcing images, and helping produce short-form video or case studies.
Community Engagement:
Monitor social channels and help engage with our online community to transform followers into brand advocates under the guidance of senior leadership.
Campaign Logistics:
Assist in the execution of organic and paid campaigns on LinkedIn and other platforms, handling scheduling and basic reporting.
2. Business Development & Sales Support
Lead Follow-Up:
Act as the first point of human contact for inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns, ensuring a professional and timely response.
Event Representation:
Travel to and attend trade shows and industry conferences. You will staff the booth, network with attendees, and professionally represent the PEC brand to seek out new contacts.
Outreach:
Conduct initial outreach to prospective partners (like healthcare or government organizations) to set up appointments for the Director of Business Development.
CRM Management Maintain accurate records of leads and interactions in our CRM, ensuring the sales pipeline is clean and up to date.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Professional Presence:
You are well-presented, articulate, and confident in speaking with senior professionals, both in person and over video.
Communication Skills:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are non-negotiable. You can write a clean email and hold an engaging conversation.
Research Ability:
You know how to dig for information online to find the right contact person or competitive intelligence.
Tech Savvy:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required. Familiarity with social media tools (Sprout Social/Hootsuite) or design tools (Canva/Adobe) is a major plus.
Willingness to Travel:
You must be willing to travel to trade shows and events as needed (approx. 10-20% travel).
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
