Role Description Platedrop is seeking a creative, driven undergraduate student to
define and lead
our digital presence across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. This role is ideal for someone who loves storytelling, understands student culture, and is excited to build a brand voice from the ground up. You will have
creative freedom
to craft content, experiment with formats, and develop campaigns that amplify Platedrop’s mission and connect with students.
This role also involves creating and maintaining a
60-day social media and marketing plan , as well as representing Platedrop on camera when producing content that requires a student‑led voice.
Responsibilities:
Create and execute a
60-day social media and marketing strategy
Develop Platedrop’s
brand voice
across social media platforms
Design graphics, short videos, and engaging content using tools like Canva, CapCut, and Adobe Creative Suite
Appear on camera for short‑form content, campus storytelling, and updates when needed
Brainstorm, plan, and launch creative campaigns related to student life, sustainability, and food access
Track analytics, monitor engagement, and adjust strategy based on performance
Capture moments from events, meetings, and campus outreach to share online
Collaborate with the Outreach & PR Fellow to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms
Ideal Candidate:
Creative thinker with a strong sense of visual and digital storytelling
Comfortable appearing on camera and communicating directly to an audience
Familiar with Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools, or similar software
Interested in marketing, branding, design, content creation, or communications
Organized, proactive, and excited to take ownership of Platedrop’s digital voice
Passionate about creating content with real social impact
