Key Responsibilities
Build instructionally sound, creative, and high‑quality learning products to meet organizational needs.
Collaborate with subject‑matter experts (SMEs) to design and develop engaging content for eLearning, blended learning, and other delivery modes.
Develop eLearning courses and supplemental materials using industry tools such as Articulate Suite, Camtasia, and Canva.
Create supporting materials (storyboards, summaries, etc.) to demonstrate vision, secure buy‑in, and match SME workflows.
Collaborate with team members; maintain and revise existing learning products; ensure content is relevant and efficient while achieving learning objectives.
Exhibit strong visual design skills and attention to detail; deliver error‑free, fully functional, and professional materials.
Apply adult learning theory when creating, updating, and evaluating course materials.
Conduct thorough quality assurance before submitting drafts to SMEs.
Work independently, own projects, organize and prioritize effectively, and deliver on time.
Communicate verbally in a professional and effective manner.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Position Requirements
2+ years’ experience as an instructional designer in a professional services environment, or a 4‑year degree with significant coursework in Instructional Design, Training, or Computer Sciences.
2+ years’ experience with eLearning development and visual design tools (Articulate, Camtasia, Canva, etc.).
Comfortable conducting meetings with stakeholders and delivering presentations in informal and structured settings.
Experience applying adult learning theory and best‑practice learning methodologies that support engagement, comprehension, retention, and skill development.
Ability to perform the position’s functions confidentially.
Ability to prioritize workflow and organize diverse material.
Ability to perform effectively with moderate supervision and within established time limits and ongoing deadlines.

Colorado: $61,000–$109,000
Illinois: $60,000–$116,000
Massachusetts: $66,000–$127,000
Maryland: $64,000–$98,000
Minnesota: $66,000–$110,000
NJ (Jersey City): $72,000–$131,000
New York: $62,000–$134,000
Vermont: $66,000–$126,000
Washington: $64,000–$122,000
Washington, D.C.: $86,000–$126,000
