Principal Duties and Responsibilities
K-12 Music Teacher
Guardian Angels Central Catholic School is seeking a qualified, enthusiastic applicant for a K-12 Music Teacher for the upcoming school year. The teacher will work daily in a supportive, Catholic, faith-filled teaching environment to inspire students and foster a lifelong love of music.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
Demonstrated knowledge and implementation of best instructional practices in the field of Music (vocal and instrumental).
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to teach general music to K-6 students and band/choir to 7-12 students.
Plan and direct student performances (concerts, Mass music, programs, etc.).
Create a positive and engaging classroom environment with strong classroom management skills.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration to support student success.
Exhibit excellent attendance, communication, and organizational skills.
Education and Experience
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or related field (Master’s preferred, but not required).
Valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate (or ability to obtain).
Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
Application Instructions
Benefits:
Certified based salary is above $37,000
$100 per month for single coverage insurance premium
